Aluminum Calibrator Housing Set
Model CH-01 is an anodized aluminum housing set for a gas flow calibrator. It gives the instrument a rigid case with a lid so that it can be carried to a rooftop or a roadside site without damage, and it provides a stable platform while the calibration is carried out. It measures 320x240x240 mm, weighs 2.0 kgs and fits our own gas flow calibrator as well as most third-party units of comparable size.

What the Calibrator Housing Is
The CH-01 is an aluminum housing set for a gas flow calibrator. It consists of an anodized case with a lid, sized 320x240x240 mm and weighing 2.0 kgs, that holds the instrument during transport and while it is in use. It is supplied with our gas flow calibrator and also fits most third-party calibrators of comparable size.
Why a Calibrator Needs a Case
Flow calibration is the step that makes every other measurement in a programme traceable, and it is normally carried out where the samplers are: on roofs, at roadside cabinets, on scaffolding and at fenceline stations. Those are not places where a precision instrument can be left loose. The housing keeps the calibrator rigid, keeps dust and rain away from the flow path, and gives the technician a flat surface to work on at the station.
Calibration Practice on Site
During a check, the calibrator is connected to the inlet of the sampling train and the pump is adjusted until the flow reading matches the value required by the method. A calibrator that is rocking on an uneven parapet produces readings that are hard to repeat, and the technician may end up adjusting a sampler that was correct to begin with. Standing the instrument in the housing removes that variable and shortens the visit.
Applications
The housing is used by air quality monitoring networks, service companies that calibrate samplers for several clients, research institutes and integrators who supply complete calibration kits. Mobile laboratories and rental fleets also use it to protect instruments that travel between sites every week.
Packing and Lead Time
Each housing set is packed in a 36x26x27 cm carton and ships from stock under ERP number 98080-000-401 with a three year warranty. OEM buyers can request alternative finishes, engraved logos or modified internal dimensions, and spare lids are available as separate parts.
Protection for a Precision Instrument
A flow calibrator is only as good as its last calibration, and it is usually the most expensive item a technician carries to site. The CH-01 encloses the instrument in an anodized aluminum case with a lid, so knocks during transport, dust at the site and rain during a sudden shower do not reach the flow path or the display.
A Stable Platform During Calibration
Flow readings are sensitive to vibration and to an unsteady base, and a calibrator balanced on a roof parapet or a tailgate can give readings that are hard to repeat. The housing stands flat on its own footprint and holds the instrument steady while the technician adjusts the sampler, so the same flow value can be reproduced between visits.
Fits Our Calibrator and Common Third-Party Models
The internal dimensions suit our own gas flow calibrator and most calibrators of comparable size, which means integrators and service companies can use one housing across a mixed fleet of instruments instead of buying a case for every model.
Light Enough to Carry on Every Trip
At 2.0 kgs the housing adds little to the load a technician already carries, and at 320x240x240 mm it travels with the rest of the sampling equipment. Because the calibrator is no longer a loose instrument, it can be packed with the other tools instead of being carried separately.
Stock Item, Three Year Warranty
The housing set ships from stock under ERP number 98080-000-401 with a three year warranty. OEM buyers can ask for alternative finishes, engraved logos or modified internal dimensions, and replacement lids are supplied as separate parts.
