Control Pump and Box for Low Volume Air Sampler
Models CCZ-30 and CCZ-30D are pump and control box units for low volume air samplers. Each box contains the sampling pump, the flow adjustment and a rechargeable battery, so a sampling train can be run where mains power is not available. The single channel version drives one train and the double channel version drives two, and both cover the 3 to 30 L/min range used by PM10 and PM2.5 low volume methods.

What the Control Pump Box Is
The CCZ-30 and CCZ-30D are pump and control box units for low volume air samplers. Each box contains the sampling pump, the flow adjustment and a rechargeable battery in one enclosure, so a sampling train can be operated without an external power supply. The single channel unit is intended for one train and the double channel unit for two.
How the Two Models Differ
CCZ-30 measures 200x122x126 mm and weighs 3.0 kgs. It drives one train at a flow set within the 3 to 30 L/min range. CCZ-30D measures 200x172x126 mm and weighs 4.0 kgs, and it drives two trains at independent flow rates, which is what a PM10 and PM2.5 double channel station needs.
Both units follow the same routine: the operator sets the flow, checks it against the reference used by the programme, and starts the run. Because the flow adjustment is part of the box, no separate controller has to be fitted inside the cabinet.
Why Battery Power Matters
Many sampling points have no mains connection, and running a cable to a roof, a fenceline or a temporary plot is often not practical. The rechargeable battery in the box allows the train to run at these sites, and it also keeps a station running through a short interruption of the mains supply.
Because the pump, the control and the battery share one enclosure, the number of items a technician has to carry, connect and protect is reduced, which shortens installation time at each new location.
Applications
The units are used in ambient PM10 and PM2.5 monitoring, industrial and construction dust programmes, research projects and integrator builds. Distributors stock them as service parts because a failed pump stops a station immediately, and the lead time for a replacement unit is one week.
Packing and Lead Time
CCZ-30 is packed in a 32x18x22 cm carton under ERP number 63012-000-046, and CCZ-30D in a 40x30x20 cm carton under ERP number 63012-000-059. Both carry a three year warranty and are quoted with a lead time of one week.
Battery Power Where There Is No Mains Supply
Rooftops, construction sites, farms and temporary roadside plots often have no power connection. Because the box carries a rechargeable battery, the sampler can be set up and run at these locations without a generator, an extension cable or a separate power supply unit.
Single and Double Channel Versions
CCZ-30 drives one sampling train, while CCZ-30D drives two at independent flow rates. A programme that reports PM10 and PM2.5 from the same site can therefore use one box and one power source for both channels, which simplifies the packing list and the installation work at each station.
Flow Range for Low Volume Methods
Both models cover 3 to 30 L/min, which spans the flow rates used by PM10 low volume and by PM2.5 impactor and cyclone trains. The adjustment is built into the box, so the operator sets the flow at the station instead of changing hardware.
Compact and Easy to Carry
The single channel box measures 200x122x126 mm and weighs 3.0 kgs; the double channel box measures 200x172x126 mm and weighs 4.0 kgs. Both are small enough to be carried in one hand and to be stored inside the sampler cabinet, where they are protected from rain and direct sun.
One Week Lead Time and Three Year Warranty
Pump and control boxes are quoted with a lead time of one week and carry a three year warranty. They are listed under ERP number 63012-000-046 for the single channel model and 63012-000-059 for the double channel model, so repeat orders and spare units are processed without re-specification.
