Moveable Bracket for Outdoor Air Sampler
Model MB-01 is a powder coated aluminum bracket that carries the inlet of a low volume air sampler and makes the whole unit easier to move between positions. Many samplers are relocated between fences, roofs and tripod stands, and the bracket lets one person reposition the inlet without dismantling the sampling train. It is supplied as a spare part for our low volume samplers and for distributor and OEM stock.

What the Moveable Bracket Does
The MB-01 is a carrier for the inlet of a low volume air sampler. It holds the inlet head firmly at the sampling height while allowing it to be repositioned, and it can also be used to move the whole unit between sites when the sampler is operated without a cabinet.
Like the cabinets and inlets it is used with, the bracket is made from aluminum with a powder coating, so it can stay outdoors for long periods without special care.
Where It Is Used
Typical applications are fenceline and roadside monitoring, construction and mining dust programmes, temporary campaigns that will move to a new location next season, and rental fleets where one sampler serves several sites. Operators who work from a tripod rather than a cabinet use the bracket as the standard mounting for the inlet.
Fitting and Relocation
The bracket is a mechanical part with no electrical connections, so fitting it does not affect the flow calibration of the sampling train. During a move the inlet, the connect pipe and the impactor or cyclone can stay assembled, and the technician only has to release the bracket, carry the assembly and fix it in the new position.
A short check that the tubing is not kinked and that the inlet is level is enough before sampling resumes. Because no part of the flow path is opened, the time a station is out of service is limited to the walk to the new position.
Packing and Lead Time
Each bracket is packed in a carton box and ships from stock with a three year warranty. It is often ordered together with the low volume inlet, the connect pipe and the filter holder so that a new station can be commissioned from a single shipment, and distributors keep spares for their service work.
Reposition the Inlet Without Breaking the Train
Sampling points are rarely permanent. A change of wind direction, a new building or a temporary campaign may mean the inlet has to be moved a few metres or raised above a new obstruction. With the MB-01 the inlet can be repositioned while the pump, tubing and filter holder stay as they are, so there is no reassembly to carry out and no need to re-establish the flow setting afterwards.
Tripod Mounting When No Cabinet Is Used
Not every programme needs a full enclosure. Where the sampler runs from a tripod or a simple platform, the bracket provides the mounting point for the inlet and holds it at the height the method requires. The same part therefore serves both the cabinet arrangement and the open tripod arrangement.
One Person Can Move the Unit
Because the inlet is carried on a single bracket, a technician working alone can lift the inlet clear, carry it to the new position and set it down again. That shortens the time a station is out of service and removes the need for a second person or for lifting equipment during a site change.
Powder Coated for Permanent Outdoor Duty
The bracket is produced from aluminum and finished with powder coating, so it resists rain, salt air and the abrasive dust found at roadside and industrial sites. The coating matches the finish of our sampler cabinets, which keeps an installed station visually consistent.
Stock Part with a Three Year Warranty
MB-01 is held in stock and ships in a carton box, so it can be added to a sampler order or bought later as a replacement. Every bracket carries a three year warranty and is produced in the same Foshan workshop as the cabinets and inlets it is designed to work with.
