Digital Flow Meter 1-100 LPM for Air Sampler

Model RMA14-SSV is a DWYER digital flow meter with a measuring range of 1 to 100 LPM, fitted in the flow path of a low volume air sampler so the operator can set and verify the sampling rate. One meter covers PM10 and PM2.5 low volume work at 16.7 L/min and TSP work at higher rates, which is why it is used both during calibration and during routine checks. A 200-2500 CC/min indicating version is also available.

Where the Flow Meter Sits in the Sampling Train

The meter is installed in the flow path of a low volume air sampler, downstream of the filter cassette and upstream of the pump, so the reading reflects the air actually drawn through the filter. Operators use it to set the sampling rate before a run begins and to verify the rate during routine checks. Because the meter forms part of the flow path rather than sitting outside it, there is no need to break the sampling line to take a reading.

One Range for PM10, PM2.5 and TSP

The measuring range of 1 to 100 LPM covers low volume methods at 16.7 L/min for PM10 and PM2.5 and the higher rates used for TSP work. A programme running several methods can therefore standardise on one meter model, which keeps calibration records and spare parts simple. A 200-2500 CC/min indicating version is available for laboratories working at much lower rates.

Calibration and Routine Checks

The meter is used during calibration, when the sampling rate has to be set to the method value, and during routine checks, when the operator confirms that the train still holds that rate. Comparing the reading with a primary calibrator at intervals, and recording both values at each visit, gives a programme a simple audit trail for its flow data.

Because the meter is an indicating instrument, the operator can watch the reading change while adjusting the pump or the flow valve, so the train can be brought to its target rate in a single visit rather than through repeated adjustments across several days. That shortens commissioning and makes it practical to check several samplers in one field trip.

Packing, Availability and Warranty

The flow meter weighs 0.12 kgs and ships from stock under ERP number 63012-000-034 in a 12×2.5x5cm carton, covered by a one-year warranty. T4 AIR SAMPLER supplies it as part of the low volume air sampler range, together with cyclones, filter holders and other sampling accessories.

Set and Verify the Sampling Rate On Site

The meter sits in the flow path of the sampling train, so the operator reads the actual rate while the sampler is running instead of inferring it from a pump setting. That makes it practical to bring a new sampling train to its target flow, and to confirm that an existing train still holds that flow after a filter change or a pump service.

1 to 100 LPM Covers Most Low Volume Work

A single range of 1 to 100 LPM spans PM10 and PM2.5 low volume methods at 16.7 L/min as well as TSP sampling at higher rates. One instrument therefore serves the whole low volume programme, which simplifies spares holding and calibration records for a laboratory.

A Recognised Instrument Brand

The meter is a DWYER RMA14-SSV indicating unit, a make widely used in air sampling laboratories, so it is easy to document in a sampling report. It is supplied under an ERP number, ships from stock and carries a one-year warranty.

Light Enough to Carry Between Sites

At 0.12 kgs and packed in a 12×2.5x5cm carton, the meter travels easily in a field kit. Field teams can carry it from station to station, take a reading at each sampler and return it to the laboratory, so one meter can serve several samplers in a single programme.

Available from Stock as a Spare Part

The digital flow meter is held in stock under ERP number 63012-000-034, which suits buyers who need a replacement quickly or who are assembling sampling trains in the field. T4 AIR SAMPLER supplies it alongside low volume samplers, cyclones and filter holders, so a complete field kit can ship in one order.
