PM10 & PM2.5 Low Volume Air Sampler – Double Channel
Model PM10-LV-D is a double channel low volume air sampler that runs two independent sampling trains at once, so PM10 and PM2.5 are collected at the same site and at the same time. Each channel has its own pump, flow control and filter cassette, with a flow range of 3 to 30 L/min, which removes the timing mismatch that appears when the two fractions are sampled on different days. The powder coated aluminum cabinet measures 820x820x1320 mm and can be relocated between sites with the optional moveable bracket.

What Is a Double Channel Low Volume Air Sampler?
The PM10-LV-D is a low volume sampler built around two sampling trains in a single cabinet. Channel A is the PM10-LV-D train and channel B is the PM10-LV-D-B train; each has its own pump, flow control and filter cassette and covers a flow range of 3 to 30 L/min. The cabinet measures 820x820x1320 mm and weighs 14 kgs.
Because the two channels are mechanically and electrically independent, a station can report two size fractions from one installation without doubling the site footprint.
How the Two Channels Work Together
Both trains draw ambient air through their own size-selective inlet at the top of the cabinet. Each pump pulls air through its own filter cassette at the flow rate set for that channel, so PM10 and PM2.5 are collected over exactly the same period. The operator sets the two flow rates, records the start and stop times once, and recovers both filters in the same visit for gravimetric or chemical analysis.
Flow is verified on each channel with the reading device used in your own programme, and both trains are audited at the interval set by your quality system. Because the channels share a cabinet but not a pump, a fault on one side stays isolated and the other channel can keep sampling while the problem is resolved.
Applications
The double channel sampler is used by air quality monitoring networks, municipal and provincial environmental agencies, research institutes and industrial operators who need PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations reported together. It also fits campaign work such as construction dust monitoring, mine and port surveys and validation of low-cost sensor nodes, where a stable reference measurement is required next to the test equipment.
Packing, Delivery and Relocation
Each unit is packed in a plywood box with a gross weight of 17 kgs and ships from stock under a three year warranty. The optional moveable bracket allows the cabinet to be moved between sites without dismantling the sampling train, which is useful for shorter monitoring campaigns.
PM10 and PM2.5 Sampled Simultaneously
Two independent channels in one cabinet mean the PM10 and the PM2.5 fraction come from the same air, at the same moment. Comparing fractions that were sampled on different days always introduces meteorological error, and this configuration removes that source of doubt from the data set.
Independent Flow Control per Channel
Each channel carries its own pump, flow control and filter cassette, and each covers a flow range of 3 to 30 L/min. The channels are set and audited separately, so a filter change or a fault on one side does not disturb the other, and the two fractions can be run at different flow rates when the method requires it.
Lower Cabinet, Easier Access
The double channel cabinet stands 820x820x1320 mm, which is 100 mm lower than the single channel version, so cassettes and controls are within comfortable reach from ground level. The powder coated aluminum cabinet weighs 14 kgs and is built for permanent outdoor installation.
Relocate the Station When the Campaign Moves
The optional moveable bracket turns the unit into a relocatable station, which suits baseline surveys, construction monitoring and campaign work where the sampler follows the source rather than staying at one address. Moving the unit does not require the sampling train to be taken apart.
Factory-Built and Ready to Ship
T4 AIR SAMPLER manufactures the inlets, cabinets and filter holders in house, so buyers receive a matched mechanical set with factory-direct pricing and export packing in a plywood box. Units ship from stock under a three year warranty, and OEM configurations are quoted on request. Because both channels and the cabinet come from the same workshop, the fit between the two trains is checked before packing and replacement parts stay available after the order.
